VBA AVI recording problem

After I click "start AVI recording" and choose the file name(and click save) the pop up window with the recording properties shows, but it is just a thin vertical line and it can't be resized, I tried resetting the properties(deleting the .ini file) but it did not work. What do I do?

Oh, that's how the window looks like:

Thanks to who ever solves this problem.
Also, don't pay attention to the white screen and the high speed, I just opened the game...

And sorry for bumping.
