Climate change, most noticable the last summit that was held to discuss the issue. All the news reported was a bunch of leaders sprouting the same thing over and over again that "now is the time to act" or "we need to work together". Very little else seemed to be achieved. I laughed at how other countries gave our Prime Minister flack though.

Which brings me to the second over rated thing of 2009 - Kevin Rudd.

LED monitors/tvs. Potentially blacker blacks and whiter whites on screen at the same time. A bit brighter. A bit thinner, uses less eletricity. But not that friggin amazing. Overpriced hype. Worth 150 dollars extra maybe imo.

Image quality has much much more to do with the other components and factors rather than the fact its lit in the back by led lights instead of florescent tubes.

Agreed, I'll wait till they get the OLED Tv's out, those will actually change things...

My suggestion to most over-rated thing in year 2009 is pig-flu.

An OLED TV will run you around 19,000 for a decent 55 inch now

And remember that OLED uses organic compounds, which degrade each time you use the TV.....and even when you don't lol.

2. Any of this low-carb bulls@#%. Face it, carbs are a good thing. Try eating natural stuff like fruits and vegetables (like what mankind has been doing for centuries).
3. Graphics. If gfx is the only thing a game has going, than that's pathetic. You can't trade originality for gfx, it just doesn't work. They never will make great games like they did back in 1997-2002 anymore.

Yeah, that too. I H-A-T-E Beyonce's music and I H-A-T-E that stupid ass song. At my old job, I was forced to hear that s@#% about 3-6 times in a day over the radio. If hell had a theme song, this would be it.
