how do you configure/use analog control in SFF

wanna play nights cant figure out how to configure analog stick help pl0z, read about controls in ssf readme file but dont see the analog stick listed:
UP = UP Arrow
DOWN = DOWN Arrow
LEFT = LEFT Arrow
RIGHT = RIGHT Arrow
A TRG = Z key
B TRG = X key
C TRG = C key
X TRG = S key
Y TRG = D key
Z TRG = F key
L TRG = A key
R TRG = G key
START = Enter key
ˆ‰‚•ύX•s‰
CD Open = F1 key
CD Close = F2 key
Hard Reset = F4 key
Scanline‚ON/OFF‚‘‚ = F5 key
Sound‚ON/OFF‚‘‚ = F6 key
State Load = F7 key
State Save = Shift + F7 key
Snapshot = F8 key
Sound Record = F9 key
Video Record = Shift + F9 key
do i need a newer version of sff or somthing? the readme is mostly japanese and kinda hard to make heads or tails of i searced the forums and google for an answer but no luck thanks

Select Multi Controller under controllers.

You can't just go to: option>option>controller tab and redefine the controls to use the analog controller?

You can, however the analog controller is officially called "Multi Controller", so he may not find it because of this.
And there is also the mission stick, which was a 3-axis traditional analog joystick...
