Something I found interesting/odd
I have Sonic Adventure DX - Director's Cut for both PC and gamecube and out of curiosity, I tried the gamecube version on the emulator dolphin. What I found weird is how the game "ran better" emulated than the native port. Besides having no glitches and running at full speed, scaling up the resolution like with other gamecube games made it look better than the PC version and in addition, the control problems were eliminated as well (on the PC version, the camera kept turning non-stop due to the lack of or too narrow dead zones on the analog sticks). This really goes to show you how little effort is put into certain PC ports when emulators can run the game better.

That is actually really interesting, thank you for sharing this with us.I was even thinking of getting this game for the pc but now I'm going to play it on Dolphin. This is another reason why gaming on the computer is dying.Once a platform generations ahead of its console counterparts now struggling to keep up.

Yeah thats the thing. The console market is a more profitable business than selling pc games.Pc's can still run games that are more advanced than consoles, but the gap has gotten smaller and now all companies just develop console games and create (mostly) bad ports.Even if the better games have nicer graphics on the computer and no real glitches game companies prioritise consoles. My main anger is coming from the fact that every kid in my school thinks the ps3 is some sort of hardware holy-grail.I mean the cell proccessors architecture is nice but computers come with better craphics cards these days. They reckon that you need £2000 or something to have a computer as good as a ps3 (stupid retards).
