Music/sound problems

Hey guys. I'm running ePSXe 1.7.0 with Eternal SPU 1.41, and with several games (including Powerslave/Exhumed and Skullmonkeys) I've run into an odd problem: when the game is done playing a song, instead of looping it as it should it skips to a totally different song even though it's not supposed to play in that level, or sometimes starts playing audio from a cutscene instead (like the ending for Powerslave or the Dreamworks logo for Skullmonkeys). Furthermore, occasionally the sound will get extremely crackly, although it goes away after a minute or so. Anything I'm doing wrong here?

no, its just a bug in epsxe's CDDA support.

use another emulator is the only thing i can really suggest here.
