Nose problem - always "clogged"

This being my reality for as long as I can remember, I really don't let it get to me that much...
But I'll just ask here. (And yes, I'm kinda bored since I'm posting this )

You know how your nose gets when you got the flu, and you've just blown your nose? It's kinda clogged, right? And you can hardly breathe through it, and it's hard to smell properly with it..
That's how mine is, constantly. It's been like that for over 5 years, at least.

I can use nasal spray, to get my nose "functioning" again, but as soon as I quit taking it (something about 7days on/7days off..), my nose gets clogged again.
This persists all year around, winter, spring, summer and fall. Granted, it's kinda better in the summer, since I always get a runny nose when outside during the winter..
One more thing: I'm not allergic to anything that grows here, only a plant that grows in the southern part of Norway (me being up north, where we ride polar bears in the streets), at least that's what my mother told me back when I was younger - at about age 10 or so, since she died 3 years later.

Anyway: Do you guys know anything about this stuff, or should I go to the doctor?

Sinusitis maybe? Or maybe some kind of allergy...

You should see a doctor anyways, maybe its nothing but you never know.

Go to the doctor. It's likely you might have a deviated septum.

I ahve sinus problem and my nose gets clogged frequently....especially during mornings......i clear it off three times a day .... if the clogging of nose is accompanied by a headache then it might point to sinusitis

Check for viruses and worms. If the problem still exists consider having either a full reinstall or having the hardware replaced.

Gonna stress getting checked for a deviated septum. It's very very common and many people deal with the same symptoms you do daily and never get checked.

...and then they die. So yeah, go to the doctor, dude.

A friend of mine has something similar. She says there's a treatment where they make a hole in there with a laser.

A buddy of mine had a deviated septum. His surgery involved crushing and re-consctructing his nose.

No, like crushing and re-constructing his nose to straighten it out so he could breathe properly.

I have a deviated septum too. It's just not severe.

Thanks Spyhop, that's true. Ahielia, try to go to the mirror then open and then examine one of your nose hole and try to see if there is something unusual inside your nose. Check the other nose hole too. Now to compare between the two and then you may figure about the case of the problem. I have a deviated septum in the left nose hole and it is BIG and WHITE. I am waiting for the chance to remove it...

Getting your adnoids out is about the same way how they get your tonsils out...I got my adnoids and tonsils taken out before I was 10 because I used to get them infected A LOT. You should go to the doctor, just like everyone here is saying. That's your safest bet since he can look at you physically. We can't. We are just guessing with what's going on. Hope your trip to the doctor is a good one and that you can find out what's wrong.

I've done that surgery, and mind telling you, i started breathing from that day on. Before it was like i was in a never-ending disease.

It's been 5 years, and i only caught a flu once in the meantime.
