OH, I see. Luckily, I don't test beta versions of any plugins (cause I'm not a beta tester for any of them). So, i guess I'm safe. But sometimes a plugin may somehow have a conflict with something else on my system and it could screw it up but I guess its not likeliy then.

Dual booting.... Install Win 9x, then run the installer for 2k/xp, and select new installation. It should set up dual boot for you.

I have C : windows 98 SE

And now my D : has become a Faulty hard disk which now is removed. The Question is "How do you Remove the pop-up Selection of the OS ?

Try this... boot to Win 98 and use its fdisk to overwrite the MBR:
fdisk /mbr

you may also have to copy the system files from a win 98 boot disk. After doing the above run sys from the boot disk as follows:

sys a: c:

I think that 98 can only run as a primary operating system, so that should go first. Then install XP, eventhough some of its files need to be put on the primary partition.

When I did it I put the cd in while I was running 98 and XP did the Multi-boot automatically.

Windows XP (and 2K) has a repair option to fix the installation if something goes wrong. You boot from the CD and select the repair option.
