Emulator question.

Hey, I just got ePSXe, And love it, Everything works right out of the box, But I have a few questions.

1. I only tried games from the original disk, And my disk drive constantly spins during emulation, Which after playing the game for a few minutes, Causes the game to become warm. Is this bad? Would it hurt the game or drive?

2. LOL PIRACY XDXDXD

1. It's normal they get hot. The spinning depends on the game. If it's constantly loading stuff than it will spin. Just regular wear and tear.

2. We do not allow piracy here. Downloading games is illegal. You are allowed to make ISOs of your own games however if you want to avoid the "wear and tear"

that will show you how to make images of your game discs. even with the legal aspect aside i suggest making your own images using the various tutorials within that thread. warez images can be buggy and in some cases unplayable, and if you are unfortunate enough to be using one like that then your hands will be tied as there is really nothing that can be done to correct it short of re-ripping the game from its original source.

It's cool, man. Just stay within our rules and you're a-okay. I'm sure you have a few PSOne classics laying around, no? If not, they can usually be had off Amazon pretty cheap, if I recall[as long as it's not some obscure collector's game..]. =]
