It also had the potential to get more games aside from shooters onto the PC, some console only titles would really own bones on PC had they given the chance, and if Microsoft could have come up with a successful system to enhance their community, it could have been more beneficial for owners of either system, those who want the simplicity of owning a gaming console, and those who want more advanced options with PC. Instead it flopped, Windows Live titles remain a pain to use and the PC misses out on some bona fide great games. I guess I'm just disappointed that potential has gone to waste, Sony have the potential now to really make their mark on mobile gaming with phones sporting the Playstation brand, and Microsoft had the chance to enhance gaming on both PC and Xbox with advanced connectivity, instead we now have a console lacking in original titles and a PC platform missing out on some great stuff. Kinect, as silly as it may be could be even greater on PC if it had full support right from the get go. I don't know that PC gamers would want in, but I certainly would be more interested if I could use a kinect with both my 360 and PC, especially for gamers who have a disability, I know that kinect is getting some tools for pc now, but I just wish that Microsoft would be better at things instead of being not. I'm sad now.

Microsoft could've made things a lot better if they would think out of the box eh?

Well, take an extreme example. How much do you think it'd cost to make FF6 today compared to FF13? Same content, totally different dev costs due to graphics. It's why all those NDS, PSP and Indie games can be made, and sold for cheaper. Their content isn't that much less.

Zombie Island of Dr. Ned was my favourite part, love the atmosphere, music and silly story.

I played some games on the PSP Capcom Reloaded and Midway Extended packs. Toobin, Wizard of Wor, Ghosts 'N Goblins (which I had to reset as it froze on the controls), Joust, 1943, Wizard of Wor, Klax, Commando, and Gun Smoke were among the games I played.

Started playing Arcania - Gothic 4 the following things downright suck compared to gothic: - you can't sleep, meaning that if its night, well your gonna have to live with it even if your in a town... (thankfully there's a cheat for this, ffs this was a basic principal for gothic). - the world isn't really open ended anymore, they just give out that feeling. - voice acting quality worse when compared to gothic. - interaction with world objects is just for show and nothing more, in gothic except for sitting in a chair the majority of things with which you interacted had an effect. Now except for this things the games ain't really bad with the second patch installed that is, technically from what i've seen atm the only thing you gotta watch out for is not to try to go off boundaries cause your gonna get stuck, loading and saving works nice the world is good as well. Quests are nice to and the start is interesting to say the least, the way it starts of makes it quite different from other games of the genre.

^Well there's even more to complain about, magic... it doesn't feel as effective as it did in Gothic, archery is the only thing which seems it didn't mess up (though that's different to)... can't seem to get into the gameplay... Regarding Risen, it seems that will finally get to see some gameplay footage of Risen 2 between 18-21 august since there going to show it of finally at gamescom XD. I hope that in the sequel magic will be as diverse as it was in gothic.

Another interesting thing is that JoWood only had rights to make gothic 4 only, the rights over the gothic series are back to now PB.

yep im raiting it again, why becuase it annoys me. anyway, kings bounty armored princess, 7/10 Seriously annoys me, its the ost that's keeping the score high here. Freaking awesome. first things first why, oh why do you not allow your dragon in boss battles, is he just sipping a Margareta somewhere while your fighting Baal. Ill mention the difficulty again, this is what happens when you randomize merchants and enemies. You get into unwinnable situations, for instance the only troops i could by on one of my many attempts of beating this were very week ones, keep in mind that it costs a bit to restock after every battle and you can see why this is a problem, i eventually ran out of money and was doomed. Its better on easy mode (yes i caved and went to easy mode) as the normal enemies are stupid easy most of the time, but dang it on normal mode and higher it can screw you over majorly. Oh and on that topic, in my successful run, guess what wasn't sold, HASTE, that's nearly freaking essential for one of the bosses. i know im ranting on about this game but, dang it i spent ages on it and i will rant about it dang it. ill put this bluntly, im not playing this again...

Started playing Vindictus, I'll give it a 7.9/10 as a game, 8.5/10 as an mmo. Also started playing APB reloaded, 8/10. Good grand theft auto IV clone, ridiculously awesome customization options(free too).

New Super Mario DS, 3rd time through, 8.5 of 10. Its a good game, but its a waste of time collecting junk and losing lives just to get "stars" by your save that only you will ever see. At the very least there should be a "true" or 2nd ending for accomplishing the goals. Plus the game is too easy if you just clear the main levels and don't go to the trouble of getting the secret paths opened, and what do you get for opening all the levels and secret stages? a freaking star...Whoopie... Still it is fun to play and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm currently on (starting) level 6 but I have to unlock level 7.

Mass Effect 2 (360) - Arrival 8/10 Finally got the last ME2 DLC since it was only $3.50 its actually pretty good, but the 2nd part of the DLC reminded me of Dead Space. It basically sets up ME3 which is one reason to play it before ME3 comes out early next year. |

Poker Night at the Inventory - 6/10 It's a great idea, get a couple of vid game characters together and have em play Poker. Unfortunately however it gets old pretty fast. The game needed more content either character wise or customization wise or just more stuff to differentiate one session from another. It's basically the same 5 people playing poker against you in the same room with just about the same chatter with the only the deck and table changing occasionally and usually just with the smallest of cosmetic changes. It becomes constant repetition for no real gain in no time. The points are pretty much all for the cleverness of the original concept. I don't know why this hasn't been done AGES ago.

Mirror's Edge 9/10 I really love this game. It was a fresh idea and very well handled game. The story is good, character development needs some work, but for a game like this, I think it's an exception. There were a few bugs here and there, like the unbreakable glass that got me killed Still though... it's definitely one of my favourite games I've ever played. I don't know if I just suck, but I die a lot lol. Hope they really do make part 2
