Childish|=| Annoyed

Can you honestly not differ the two?

More importantly,
You are being insufferable.

Why is still going? FF7 can be beaten under 20 hours without missing the story and 8 and 9 can be beaten just as fast if not faster with certain items and skills.

This was proven already. Whats the problem?

Hubris.

He discarded the original topic after he was clearly proven wrong, and tried to make it about me.

Sorry but when you go and insult the other party because the things don't go your way its called childish. And i'm also sorry but i'm not just gonna stop posting on this boards just cause you seem to be thinking i'm insufferable, which again is resorting to personal atack and child like behaviour.

Things didn't go my way? You are just in denial. You realize that you are acting the ass, you've gotten desired response, yet you persist.

I can only assume your aim is solely to aggravate me as the argument already ended in my favor. In which case I deem you unworthy of my respect, and in turn offer none.

Cast your condescending eyes all you like, you aren't fooling anyone.

Nice attempt to shift this on me, first you try to shift your fail by flaming and taking the disscusion from the original direction, then when someone gets involved you blame it on me....

FFIX with \all sidequest\ in 26 hours

Even so, the majority of games could only hope to reach 15+ hours in the psx era.

Especially action games.

Those games can be finished in under 10 hours, yet you find it hard to believe that I did it in 30?

How do you get the ultimate weapons of.... - Final Fantasy IX - Neoseeker Forums

and FYI, in my most recent run of FFVII, I had finished the first disc in 5 hours WITH over leveled characters. On my ps2.

Never heard of limit breaks? No random encounter ability from Diablo GF, No leveling and card rape?!. VIVI?

The games battle systems are easily exploitable.
Note the bolded parts, also note we weren't talking about speed runs.

Not to mention the details that it was about mainly a first playthrough, so first he says it took him 19 hours then when i come with some arguments which at that moment seemed good he backs out and says 30 hours for both FF VII and FF VIII, then he says "well it wasn't my first playthrough", then when you come in and say it is possible he shifts it back to 19 sorry but credibility is none, in his case.

in (in)
contained or enclosed by; inside; within

If I were to harass you for every grammatical error you made then the argument would get no where, very fast.

I think it is obvious that I've been blaming you long before Noja said anything.

Speed runs are the time it takes to blaze through a game while ignoring the story and optional content, which is what Kaizen accused me of doing.

Another nice try to dodge it. While the word does mean all those things the word "in" is not used as such a relative approximation, there's quite a big difference between 19 and 30...

Also i said speed runs have nothing to do with what i was talking about, also its Kaiser not Kaizen...

Thank you for making me vivi(no pun)dly explain my already clear post when you could of done just the same utilizing your own brain(singular).
Oh, it seems I already explained this to you.

The argument is just plain stupid... I tried reading back a bit but I'm still not sure if they're arguing about Kuriboh's abilities in FF's or if FF's can be finished under 10 hours, which is possible, BUT WHY DO IT?!? And who the f**k cares either way? Now it seems that they're just locked into an insult war at each other...

The discussion was originally about parasite eve.
Then it was about the length of FF games.

Then it became an argument about my credibility in completing FF VII,VIII,IX in 19(without side quest),33, and 26 hours respectively.

Then it became about whether or not I said a conflicting time about my completion of said games to write off my "credibility" since strike had been proven wrong about the psx FF games taking 40-60 hours.

The reason I argued is because I try my hardest to be understood.

I do. When reviews are innacurate it's only natural to correct them. People made a fuss about T3B being short while PE1/PE2 were even shorter. And the people posting an opinion on T3B in this thread are just as misguided as most reviewers. Since people come here to get extra feedback in games they are interested in trying, it makes sense to correct the misconceptions~.

I personally loved the first two installments of PE, it was a cinematic version of RE (which I also loved its early installments back in the day as well). While it has its shortcomings, I wouldn't say PE "wasn't a great series", it combined several elements from different genre and put them nicely in a police/investigative drama.
That being said, it seems like Square-Enix is keen on destroying content with all the titles they touch. Deplorable? Sure, but I can't blame them. The masses want eye candy and "wow" effects.

It does use 4 cores, well perhaps not completely but dual-cores suffer in this game.
