Problems with Tales of Hearts

I got the ToH anime cutscene edition and patched it with a translation patch so I know what the skills say but, neither original unpatched file nor the patched file seem to load.

I've looked all over but I can't seem to find a way to fix it or do I understand what the screen is saying. Can anyone help? I really wanna play this game.

My guess is you have the wrong savetype selected. Refer to Schumi's FAQ (Q7) or my sig (Q1 and 2).
If that doesn't fix it, make a screenshot of the error message and post it here.
