It can't be played on ePSXe on certain parts (telling them here would be a spoiler), and some people have problems saving on the memcard. Also it requires the Special game fix -> Framebuffer read on move to be enabled in pete's plugins for certain effects to be visible (they cause a real slowdown).

Of course, one can always use the PeOPS software plugin for graphics instead to get those effects as well, but the rest of the game doesn't look nearly so nice, especially if you have 3D rendering ability. I've managed to play through the entire game using version 1.4 of ePSXe with Pete's OGL plugin and Eternal SPU, but there was only one point on Disc 2 that I ran into trouble (as Fou-lu above says, it would be a spoiler). I got around it by running it in VGS for that sequence and using Memory Card Captor Sakura (I think -- what sort of name is that?) to interconvert between card formats.

These are my configs. They work fine for the game x-cept for the parts where it freezes in "the dream sequence". Use VGS if you have it for this scene. Have fun and enjoy this awesome game.

I believe he is referring to the point in the game where ePSXSe apparently doesn't work. I couldn't say about it, as I haven't got that far. I've been too busy watching love hina

ATI rage M1 hehe my laptop has the same graphics adapter too
Use the software renderer, because D3D is too slow, and OpeGL won't work.
to pass those freezing scenes use either FPSE or PSinex rev5 (and no need to convert game saves either).
hope this helps
