FFX-2 fmv sequences are messed up, screen shots!

Just finished FFX. started X-2, but got this for the intro FMV. BUnch of lines. not sure i want to go thru the entire game like this. anyone know? tried search but 0 results. not sure whats up with my search functionality.

PC hardware is not the problem. q6600 at 3.2, 3gigs ram, 8800gt 512 .
I'm using the official version of Pcsx2 0. 9.6 with included gsdx sse3 plugin. Running off ISO i made at 4x on IMGBURN.

any recommendations or links to relevant threads much appreciated. Thanks.

use native res and software mode in gsdx

However, FMVs are still buggy in FFX-2. Known issue, and nothing more you can do about it. sry
