is there any way to play ps2 games?

like is there a way to play from the actual disk instead of having to rip it from the cd?

apperently the iso i have is broken and i cant get the emulator to play off the actual disk, i heard this was possible and dont remember where.

so if it is possible, can someone help me and if not just till me its not =D

(or in the least walk me through in ripping the iso from the disk as i was not the one who did it before)

Yes, Use the "Gigaherz's CDVD" plugin and when you configure the plugin choose the CD drive you wish to use.

sorry for double post

ok i got the new plugin Gigaherz's CDVD 0.7.0 and set it to D: drive and when i try to play it it says "Error Opening CDVD Plugin"

what do i do?

btw the game is God of war

I can not offer help on configuring the plug-in.

If you want to try ripping another ISO, try
Alcohol 52%

Most people will say there are better programs available, but I have not ran into a problem with an Alcohol ISO.
