i do have a usb flash drive that my ps2 recognizes but only through ARMAX and i can get Ulaunchelf but is it important to remove the corrupted data from your memory card? or is it okay to leave it there?

I can't be 100% sure,I never leave such data in the card.
PS.You don't need to burn uLaunchELF to disk to use it,you can start it with ARMAX

sigh great...everything was working fine on my game until i tryed to go the world map it worked fine the first time but now eveytime i try to go there the screen goes black...what is going on? help

Does the same thing happen if you try the game with that burned disk but on pcsx2?

you mean just the iso not the disc right?.....and if so no whenever i played the game on the emulater the screen never just went black and stayed black when i would try to go the world map it always loaded right up

No I mean the disk you are playing from on your PS2(from which you get black screen)

OH sorry for the miss understanding and no the disc isn't giving me that black screen when i try to go to the world map

Maybe the PS2 laser is dying or the disk is no good quality enough for the picky PS2 laser(that thing is really picky)

Do you get some error messages in the pcsx2 console when you exit the the word map(pcsx2 can deal with some errors on which the PS2 may freeze)

nope no errors at all oddily enough and using a pretty high quality disc i believe its a DVD-R

ok well apparently my game wasn't freezing at the world map after all turns it was just loading really slowly i tryed going back and forth from the world map to the worlds 3 times and it loaded up eventually each time... few what a relief guess the iso just has a little trouble with that part on my ps2... anyways thanks a million buddy you helped me out alot

You can get used to the faster loading with pcsx2 from iso and when you return to play to your PS2,it can look really slow.

no it doesn't look faster on pcx2 it is much faster but its no big deal it only takes a few extra minutes to load the world map on the disc
