Can I use Phenom II X4 processor on AMD 770 chipset (Abit AX78)?

AFAIK, its designed in AM3...

is there any possibility for 770 chipset to support AM3?

both the 770 and 790 are capable of running the AM2/3 Phenom 2 variants.

also for the next 45nm Phenom II X2 Callisto processors? (that will be released in this Q3 of 2009)
