For the most part, consoles lost my interest past the PlayStation, so it stopped there. I never had a Gamecube or any of it's games, nor do I care for any.

Some PSX games can look quite pretty with a shader or two on top. I use emulators quite often, currently PCSX2 for the most part. But I tend to spend most of the time trying to hunt down bugs or silly things that end up taking hours (totally futile) until I don't wanna see the emulator again. >_<

i cant wait till dolphin can fully support the menu and mii channel and all that... i think its awesome how you can get all the motion sensor stuff to work like the wiimote if you have one of those ir emitter things or whatever.

Doesn't it already support that stuff?

it does partially trust me ive done a LOT of testing and trial and error stuff but you have to have a certain nand dump mii channel .wad for it to work and it wont play from the disc channel directly without in game glitching see http://forums.ngemu.com/showthread.php?t=146431

i know a bit more now but its still quite buggy oh well cant expect EVERYTHING at least its fairly stable for what matters, the games themselves.

You know how there's the type of advertising where some words will turn to links with a pop-up box on hover? It's like that, only there's no pop-up boxes getting in the way, and rather than that ugly Blue and underlined type link like it usually is, it just looks like a normal link (when you hover it, it says "link added by VigLink", and even that instance of VigLink there leads to a domain by that name). Because it hasn't been annoying, I haven't let it bother me too much, though I'd prefer not to see it since it's click-based advertising, and I won't be clicking any.

However, one thing about it has been annoying. It only happens to a few words, so it isn't too bad at present, but on the other hand, every single last instance of a word will be linked, so forget talking about any subject with more than a simple passing without a whole lot of your words becoming links to the same place. With the other type of advertising I saw like this, that generally wouldn't happen to every last one.

It's funny, though, that there are links advertising NGEmu, on NGEmu, near the very top of the index page no less...



Usually these terms would link to a random source, say for advertising, but in this case, nVidia will simply lead to nVidia's home page, so... I don't really see the effectiveness or point of it? Many do seem to lead to Amazon search pages though.

It doesn't happen at all once you're signed in as far as I know. You only see those add words when viewing as a guest.

I'm signed in (and I presume Ahielia is as well) while seeing it.

I would imagine then that A) only a few users are seeing it, for whatever reason, or B) it's a user group thing and you don't see it because you're in a user group where it is exempt from showing up, leading me to perhaps think that maybe it was a mistake that logged in/registered users are seeing it?

Using notscript for Chrome : when viglink.com is not allowed (default for me, I guess) I don't see it.
If I allow viglink.com, I see it.

It visibly replaced skimlinks, and essentially serves the same purpose. It's less 'in ur face' than skimlinks, as it affiliate-appends existing links mostly.

Well, it's better in that it's less annoying (no ugly Blue exaggeration and no hover pop-ups), but why did the former not show for registered users (or did it and was AdBlock blocking it?) when this one does for some of us?
