Imagine if everyone was drunk right now O_O

Oooh, I got it! Let's all get drunk
Then let's all get hiiiiiiiiiiiigh

When I was in high school, I heard mixed stories about getting drunk and high at the same time.

I've never gotten high, I hate the smell of marijuana, and it gives me headaches at the slightest whiff. Funny considering where I live. But yeah, beer rocks. I'd imagine it would be an interesting mix, but most likely one that I will never partake in.

And in case you haven't noticed, I'm a happy drunk. Thank God for that .

All but American car companies. GM was epic fail in the 80s.

Which is the "dat ass" version of the Supra? I really don't like it despite Hollywood and NFS's fascination with it...it's ugly and fat and in NFS games always tends to be overboard slippery.

I much prefer the Celica based on looks.

Never hear of "dat ass" version , but the ones used in Fast and Furios and NFS is the latest, the Toyota Supra MK IV.

But personally i think the MKII (which looks like an AE86 on steroids :P):

And the MKIII:

Are way more awesome.

0_o the MKIII looks like a beefed up 180SX

And I call the MKIV "dat ass" because whenever you play with it in racing games in that 3rd person hover cam view there's nothing but Supra rear end in your face especially when using a body-kit. And every other corner it's rear end goes where it isn't supposed to.

Toyota Supras huh... haven't seen many of those here in Sweden.
I remember I saw one MarkIII with a real nice paint job in pearl once with black interior and leather seats. The dealer wanted 8000$ for it. It looked real classy.

At first it does and it is more beefed up, but it has enough of its own to make it stand out, i love it way more, if i ever get a chance to buy a sport car its either an MKIII, BMW 840 or Dodge Viper RT.

Our colleges are apparently pretty good, you can blame the measurement thing(among other stuff) on conservatism. Typically they teach us both systems in highschool.

Actually i don't know if horse power should be there at all, cause other countries besides USA also use it, for instance ours.

In here at least we used to use horsepowers about ten years ago or something, now we officially use the kW system to measure car power for example. Although many people still talk in horsepowers...

Contrary to popular belief, schools aren't about education. It's more like breeding - or cloning if you prefer.

Schools don't teach you how to think, but rather to regurgitate information other people have discovered/thought of earlier. Schools punish new ways of thinking.
Won't solve a problem the way the textbook wants you to? You just flunked that.

Small anecdote: My sister told me that when she and her girlfriend went back to the high school equivalent of ours to get a diploma to enable them to go to the university and get a bachelor's degree.
Well, despite them having lived in England for more or less 20 years, speaking and writing perfectly, they had to do a year of 5 lessons a week of English.
Yes, England can't educate properly, so they had to prove it here.

Point of the story: one time they had to write a formal letter to something/-one (don't remember exactly what), and so they started the task without even looking at the textbook. Because they knew exactly what to write.
The teacher flunked them.

"Why?", you may ask.
Well, because they hadn't written it as the 15 year old textbook said it should be written. They had written it exactly the way they did when they left England just a year prior. They did confront the teacher, and she said that until they actually wrote it the way the textbook said, she couldn't give them a passing grade.
What is that about?

Do you have any idea what it feels like when you're trying to teach something, and you have people that have to be there, yet already knows far more about the subject than you could imagine?
That was the case with my sister's English teacher. The teacher got corrected so many times it wasn't even funny any more.

I hate laptop keyboards. A spec of dust, a loose skin flake, and any other small debris will render a key unusable until you get it removed.
