No it was because IE5 was randomly decide the internet had ceased exisiting. IE6 would crash all the time and both had no tabs. IE7 crashed every other minute but at least unlike IE6 you could recover it. IE8 crashed 60% less than IE7 but still a fair lot. IE9 is a hell of a lot better but by now anyone in the know has had too much crap from past IE versions.

I personally use IE regarless of what people think about it. is my personal decision and am very happy with IE9 so far. sure is Firefox or Chrome better in one way or another but i personally use "Favorites" quite a lot and in this area Firefox and Chrome are just annoying to me. not saying IE is better but it does the job for me so am happy. also i would like to mention some performance problems when running Silverlight apps under Firefox sometimes.

Hm you must be one of the rare persons who happen to actually use Silverlight apps

But yeah, IE9 is ok, it still lacks a lot of CSS improvements but at least it's small and stable... Personally I mostly use IE through integrating IWebBrowser2 though...

Also, I understand supporting old versions of IE can be annoying from a development point of view, but I tend to think the web developers are the problem and not the browser(s), it's not that hard to create something that works everywhere.

The snow is now officially over a month late here.

It's strange and unusual for the snow even to not have laid a thick layer on the ground even a week or so into October, and now we're closing in on December.
Even though it's raining quite a bit, the temperature is preventing it from snowing. It's hovering a few degrees (2-4) above freezing, though it does usually dip a few degrees below, at night.

I don't like snow.

Sounds a bit like how things are here (yet we don't consistently have temperatures close to freezing except maybe on a few occasions; least it's been rather warm for this time of year).

We haven't had any real snow either. There may have been a few cases where it came down, and once where it stuck just a little (not even enough to layer things or stay more than a few hours), but that's it.

We're had quite a bit of rain, but that's nothing new. I think we already had like record rainfall this year as of a month or so back or something.

Same here, but usually when that happens around here we end up having a horrendous winter.

I don't belong in the kitchen, I can't cook terribly well, though I can bake.

Thankfully most of the roads around here are gravelled, not salted.
Funny that, in the southern end of the country, they almost everywhere use salt on the roads, yet it turns out horrible.
Up north, on the other hand, where it tends to snow the most, barely any salt is used, mostly gravel, and the only problems we have are foreign truck drivers who can't use chains.
Oh, and falling rocks. But that doesn't happen very often

A friend of mine is pregnant, but I didn't notice it until she pointed at her belly and said "don't you think it's grown a little big?"
Almost got a smack on the head when I said I thought she had just gotten a bit bigger

Well **** women, if we think you're pregnant because you've put on some weight, but you're not, we'll get yelled at.
