I can't make the -nomdec command line to work. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to disable FMVs in FF9 so that i would get the 12hr deadline for the excalibur. I've read about the -nomdec feature to disable FMVs, I tried placing this in the target path: C:\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe -nogui -nomdec -loadbin C:\games\ff9cd1.bin, and when I try to run it, an error comes up saying *ePSXe error: -nomdec param incorrect. Is there any command line I should add to make it work?

Try wrapping your target path in quotes.

i.e. "C:\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe -nogui -nomdec -loadbin C:\games\ff9cd1.bin"

Tried it myself, and I couldn't get in to work either.

I tried swapping -nomdec out for -nosound and it started ePSXe without error. Maybe the -nomdec switch was removed from 1.70?

Perhaps you can try 1.60.

C:\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe -nogui -nomdec -loadbin C:\games\ff9cd1.bin

no spaces in command line
no need for "

At least that's what Squall tells me!

As far as handhelds go, well, I get the Nintendo one.

the -nomdec command switch was indeed removed in 1.7.0 i believe, try 1.6.0 or 1.5.2.
