Unhappy Can't get FSAA on D3D

For some reason, I can't activate FSAA for Direct3d. I've tried setting it with a tuner program(RivaTuner) and thru the display applet of my Control Panel. Once, I had to reboot my PC to get FSAA activated but now it won't turn on at all.

Which drivers are you using? Try nvmax www.nvmax.com since it is the most up to date of all the tweak programs out there. Also does opengl work correctly? Do you have vsync enabled?

NVmax didn't work. FSAA won't even activate when I run in 640x480. FSAA on OGL works perfectly though.

I think I had that problem one time. I can't remember how I fixed it, but try updating your drivers. The 27.xx drivers work pretty well with my system.

The drivers are already updated. I even upgraded DirectX and I still get no FSAA.

UPDATE: I can enable FSAA for Max Payne which strictly uses D3D. That game comes with it's own option for configuring FSAA.

Problem solved! Pete's DirectX6 gpu is compatible with FSAA. So is Jabo's Directx6 gpu for PJ64. Go figure.
