How the hell are you all getting 60FPS?

AMD Athlon 3.2Ghz Dual Core
4GB RAM
Nvidia 8800GT OC

I can like 30-40 FPS in KH2, and some people are getting 60FPS in FF12? Did I just configure it like a POS?

A 3.2Ghz Athlon won't compare to a 3Ghz Core2, I'm afraid (found that out the hard way with my old Opteron AND X2-4800+)

Also, another way of ensuring full speed is to use an SVN release, as it has speedhacks which can greatly increase the framerate of some games. However, there's no support for SVN releases.. so if you run into issues with games, you're on your own.

As far as KH2 goes - it's a game that is MASSIVELY power hungry -- especially when munny drops in fights. KH1 on the other hand, would be full speed for you.

I assume itīs a 6000+? If thats the case you should be getting more than just 30-40 in KH2.

Did you enable the options in CPU config?. Which plugins are you using?

You know, I see you spamming alot, randomly just going off-topic and spamming an entire thread. I'm not a mod, so I can't do anything, but I'd surely say you should stop it. Post count is not everything, no need to spam for it.

Anyways, AMD is indeed weaker, but a 3.0GHZ X2 @ around 30-40FPS seems quite right. I think you're expecting to much. Make sure to update your plugins and try the latest PP beta, with the correct speed hacks enabled.

As said, Kingdom Hearts 2 has many emulation issues currently and is not fully compatible, so that could be a issue relating to this also, as said, try a PP beta, google it. Beta are not supported on this forum, so if it still doesn't work, not much we can help you with though. Good luck.

Well excuse me for having a conversation. There's a "report post" button, I suggest you use it if you find my posts so aggravating and spam-esque.

You cannot compare 2 different games when it comes to emulation. Likewise for PC games.

And yes, you configured it like a POS, since I can manage fullspeed during non-battle sequences in KH2 when my E8400 is downclocked to 2ghz.

If you would like a few pointers, post your plugin specs so we can help.

That's great for you, but not so much for the newbies who have no clue of the PP configuration options.

If your going to break the rules and discuss the beta, at least give more detail so the OP can follow, rather than just flaunting your own achievement in his/her face.

Stop acting immature and stick to the topic.

Your plugins are definitely the issue; a 6000+ can easily put 60 FPS in most games or playable speeds.

1) Post your PCSX2 Version (No betas)
2) Post your GSDX version unless your using zeroGS (If you are I recommend GSDX)
3) Post your Operating System

I call rubbish, the K8 just doesn't have the processing capability to get 60fps in Most games, Some games sure, but if you're going to post atleast be credible in what you say.

Operating system isn't the issue.

Neither is zerogs/gsdx as both run at the same speed in FFXII/KH2, only difference is that gsdx produces less graphical glitches.

Which brings me to ask the OP whether he has DC and MTGS enabled?

Hes an AMD owner, what can you expect?:P People naturally defend their own purchases so they don't feel like they've been duped.
