I just hate all the random crashing while trying to unlock guys in Brawl Mode.

Gareth1977, would you mind posting your settings, and what build you're using? I'd like to try your configuration. Thanks!

Im using rev 2915 in debug mode with unlimited JIT cache enabled. My settings: on the general tab all the basic settings apart from enable cheats and all the advanced settings enabled. on the wii tab I have eurgb60 enabled and 16.9 aspect ratio.
on the OpenGL plugin settings i have fullscreen and auto scale enabled, full screen video mode is 1440x900 anisotropic filter 1x no antialias.i have efb copy disabled on the advanced tab. On the DSP-HLE plugin i have all options enabled and audio backend set to dsound. for the controller i use njoy 0.4

Also in brawl mode I saved often by purposely clicking back and crashing the emulator every few fights. Even though it crashes, it does save as opposed to exiting the emulator. Hope this helps.

I asked if you were using the IL build of Dolphin and you didnt answer me so I guess you aren't. On the OpenGL settings you need to uncheck vsync, uncheck use real XFB and uncheck force bi/trilinear filtering and on the advanced tab set EFB copy to disabled and uncheck use safe texture cache

Odd. How do you play in IL? I try to load any game on IL, and nothing happens (black screen). And yes, emulator is on "Play". Even in debug mode. o_O

Has anybody noticed that the new release on the dolphin website 3404 is slow when playing brawl compared to some of the older ones like 3383
