im currently using dophin rev 6234 on windows 7
i use d3d 11 plugin on gtx 260 and i7 920
so i tried playing mario galaxy and could not hold the 60 fps..
i kept getting drops to 40 or sometime even 30 fps..
is there a setting to force the game to render at 30 fps so that
i do not get performance issue at 30 fps?
or a way to improve the fps to 60?
i tried the limit fps but apparently setting it to 30 fps means the game
runs twice as slow

Try setting the "Emulation->Frame Skipping" option to 1 (half the original framerate) or 2 (one third of the original framerate). Note that this may occasionally cause black framebuffer issues.
My computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x86
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @2.66Ghz - 2GB of DDR2 RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512
My recommended settings for iDeaS: *possibly outdated!*
DirectSound 184.108.40.206 beta: 22050 Hz - Stereo - Synchronize (or No Synchronize if speed is really slow) - buffer of 7 seconds
OpenGL 3D: unless stated otherwise, enable Software Lights and disable Shaders and Fog.
