After leaving work early today because some chemicals at the plant froze from the cold (lol), I used those spare hours to put towards Cxbx. I got hard at work to make up for all the time I couldn't work on Cxbx before, and it all paid off today. The game I've been working with earlier, Smashing Drive (XDK 4242) now goes ingame. The menus so far have shown to me nothing but a white screen, but ingame looks much better with very few bugs (mostly texture related). Since 4242 is closely related to 4361, most of the functionality was just remapped to that version, but DSound support was serverely lacking for that XDK, but fortunately, Microsoft made very few changes to the DSound libraries back in 2002 so I just remap the DSound libraries to use 4627's instead (I wasn't expecting that to work, but it did). Only the 2D sound effects play, so It's not completely silent ![]() Screens attached below, eat that! shogun.

Good question, but I don't own many 4361 games Maybe I can try Hunter the Reckoning one more time to be sure now, but I really should be getting back to work on Robotech: Battlecry though.

ok looked in xdktracker. To be quite honest, I don't know for sure. There are tons of 'em out there. These are the ones I'm familiar with 3911 3944 (*)(**) 4034 4039 4134 4242 4361 4400 (*) 4432 4521 4627 4721 4831 4920 (*)(**) 4928 5028 5120 5233 5344 5455 5558 5659 5788 5849 5933 (*) - I don't know of any games that use this XDK. (**) - This XDK was used in a dashboard update.

The actual address is different for each game, so what we do instead of searching for the address is look for a digital signature generated from XDK libraries and match up the digital signatures so that the exact addresses withing the xbe are known. When the source code for a specific function is updated by mircosoft, then the digital signature changes.

I don't know where to send the xbe dumps and I think the dev's already know this versions,but it's not in the list :P Conker Live & Reloaded NTSC-U : xdk 5849 (the same of PAL that is in the list) Shenmue II NTSC-U : xdk 4721
