Zelda Wind Waker : "Get New Item Hang" is back?

I was playing Zelda Wind waker with rev. 1289 nicely, but with rev. 1292 and on, every new Item that goes to your inventory, the emu hangs when you try to accept the first screen message. Just like the telescope hang in older revs.

I got the problem trying to get the grappling hook from Medli in the Dragon Roost Cavern. I tried 3 times with same results so I had to go back to rev. 1289.

Another question: On the Dragon Roost Cavern wheather a room has lava on it, I get big spinning squares, so I can barely see the place and is a pain to pass through. This could be because of my Intel Mobile (256MB) GPU? Or it's a known emu issue?

thanks,
marco

Shuffle2 (godisgovernment) changed the ini file format. Get the new ini files and it won't be a problem.

I'm using PAL and still playing ok with rev. 1289 (DirectX9/Vertex, IntelCore2Duo, 1GB(RAM), Intel Mobile GPU (256MB)(No PixelShader)) 10-15 FPS (Random hangs but, more than enough for a Zelda Fan)

I'll give a try with daco's rev. 1316 on weekend.

Hmm, so far it seems as though there is no revision that is fixing the telescope bug and other item related hanging. Is there really a working game ini that fixes this?

I see, I get it too, I'll see if I can fix this stupid bug.

I put this in my INI file:
Code:
[OnFrame]
#Add memory patches to be applied every frame here.
+$Fix item hang
0x80295654:dword:0x4E800020
$Max health
0x803C4C09:byte:0x50
$Current health
0x803C4C0Bbyte:0x50
$Hidden dungeon
0x803C9D44:dword:0x000000FF
0x803C9D48:dword:0x485F7465
0x803C9D4C:dword:0x73740000
$Snow test room
0x803C9D44:dword:0x000000FF
0x803C9D48:dword:0x49546573
0x803C9D4C:dword:0x74363200
and the bug still occurs

Just use the cheat codes: Have Telescope and Hero's Sword.

Yes indeed, Omegadox's suggestion actually worked for me. I got passed the telescope bug without any problems. Use the cheat codes as he said.

PS: don't forget to Enable Cheats in the emulator.

Edit:Here are some screenshots to show that it worked:

With rev 1276, there is no item-hang. But many bugs and crashes...
I think there are too many items to use codes...
