Hello i am new.

Hi guys i am new to the forums and have a number of questions for you nerds lol only joking, i do have questions though.

I have recently gone out and bought a budget pc i have not upgraded in a few years because i have not had the money.

My system specs in brief.

Pentium dualcore 2200 2.2GHZ.

Gigabyte DS3L 1600 FSB not sure the board was the right choice i wanted the asus PQ5 which is 99 quid but am budgeting.

MSI 8800GT 512MB OC.

4 gig GAIL cas 5 800.

600 Watt coolermaster extreme dual 12v rail powersupply Again not sure if the power supply is fine.

I guess my questions are, will that handle oblivion on high settings?

How will my system far with call of duty 5 world at war?

Has the sloppy resident evil 4 port been sorted with mods? and can you now use the mouse to turn leon?

Thanks guys.

My laptop runs Oblivion quite well. I get ~45fps+ on high settings with a resolution of 1280x800.

Should be alright; I have Call of Duty 4 and experience some minor slowdowns at max settings, so I usually dial them back a tad.

Nope. Still a crappy port. Play it on the Wii, it's significantly better there.

You can get more help from the hardware section.

You should be fine with Oblivion, since even my old Pentium D with X800 could play it fine, just need a 2' fan lol...

I would of helped you until you called squall-Leonhart a nerd . . .

Hmmn. But as for running game's you got a newish card so should be ok to play most new games (NOT Crysis above medium or high!)

As for Resident evil 4 (pc), RE4 Community Patch Official Site - Downloads <-- There is a BASIC patch (better textures , lighting etc) and ULTIMATE patch (all of basic and deph of field etc)

It look's way better than any console does !! and you can get the mouse *FiX* from Gamecopyworld.com , But try buying a superbox or something to connect PS2 controller to Pc and it's the same? but better than all other versions.

I bring death

Awesome! I gave up on the rumored community patch a while ago, and bought the Wii version out of spite.
