What system monitoring/status software does everyone use?

Now first of all I don't mean security wise, I mean those cool little apps which show CPU use, RAM use, HDD use, network traffic etc on the desktop as a sort of gadget or bar.

At the moment I am using Statbar ( .-::! StatBar on the Web !::-. ), but it's ancient and dormant so I want to switch to something else, something flashier which displays even more info. Now whenever I try to look for something I usually just end up with really outdated apps which look like they were made for Windows 98 and have roughly the same functionality. So I decided to make this topic to find out whateverone else was using so that I can get something better for when I start using Vista in about 2 weeks, this obviously means that Vista sidebar modifications are welcome as well. It would be especially nice if it could also display temperatures, but I guess I can always use another app quick when I want to check on those.

So what do you all use? Would be cool if you could provide links to both the app as well as any special theme you may be using for it.

There is one that monitors hard-disk activity. It does not monitor partition activity just the entire disk. Thats very useful. Also get the multi-core analyzer. It should have a status bar for each core and one for ram. I don't use my vista often so I forget the name.
