VMU games?

Hi,

I'm a bit new to dreamcast emulating an i was just wondering if there was a way to play the VMU games (such as Chao Adventure) using NullDC?

if not are there any emulators that would allow me to do so?

Thanks for your help

Try your game with another emulator (chankast :/).

i think i might have explained it wrong :P

The main game is working fine (in this case Sonic adventure 2),
what i want to do is play the VMU game that you get when you transfer a chao from the game to the VMU.

slight misunderstanding :P

Chankast might be able to do that. It emulates the VMU... though I am not sure how well it would work. No idea about nullDC though.

mmm, I think its not possible for the moment, since the VMU is not fully emulated for now (there was a thread about this once, can't remember really), besides there are priorities then doing that don't you think so :/, I mean the emu still in WIP, not much to say about it when its changing its engines with each release :\

I seem to remember there being a VMU emulator on Zophar's Domain.
..................
*a few minutes later*
Yes, here it is. Dreamcast Visual Memory System Emulators - Zophar's Domain

It looks like there are two. Try them out and let us know how that goes.

yeh i already tryed those ones, downside is you need to get the actual gamefile to play it using them.

where as i'd prefer one that actually simulates the VMU its self, e.g. memory management and such. unfortunately it doesnt look like there is one :P
