Getting Maximum Speeds

AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-62 2.10 Ghz
3.00 GB DDR2 RAM
Vista Premium 32-bit
NVIDIA GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M

Indeed... for the sake of the SVN Builds not being supported let's say I'm using version 0.9.4

The games I have are:
.hack//Infection
Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix +
Dark Cloud 2

Should I make an ISO or should I run them off the disk? I know most people run them off an ISO to gain some FPS.

I suppose I'm just looking for a way to get the most FPS out of what I have. Right now I can get Final Mix to run at about 8-12 FPS in game, 10-14 in menu, 5-7 in movie, and about the same during battles. I get about 40 FPS during like a transition phase/going from one place to another
I get maybe 8 FPS during all of .hack
and maybe the same during infection (It crashes at abaout the second line of text during the intro talking about Helba or whatever her name is)

So yes just something I can do to increase my FPS if possible would be great =D Plug-in recommendations/settings. I have all the plug-ins from the download section and such. Or anything I can do to my processor or graphics card or whatever. I also have a 2GB stick of ram if I need it. I think my ram is okay though.

If you can get rid of these two snails then you can get speeds.
your cpu and GPU are very slow, and to run a game on a laptop as yours at full speed is almost impossible.
try GSdx plugin with NATIVE check box enabled, enable MTGS and dual core options in CPU config along with frame skip or VU skip. Thats all that can be done in 0.9.4.

Thank you! That helped quite a bit actually! xD Gave me maybe 5 extra frames

Hmm... .-. Know any good place to purchase laptop graphics cards and processors? And a tutorial on how to change them yourself? xD

which laptop do you own, most laptops cannot be fitted with a new graphics card and you need cpu more than gpu for pcsx2

I actually doubt u will be able to change ur labtop's GPU since I think they solder it so it doesn't move around and stays in place.

I'm not 100% sure on this, just google it and make sure for yourself.

Your laptop's GPU is probably stationary. I do not recommend you take your laptop apart; you should just emulate things like the Playstation, N64, etc. If you really want to you could try to find a better CPU to begin with; Wikipedia for the processors made by AMD and make sure the slot is the same; then look for it in places like newegg.com or tigerdirect.com.

I'm riskier; I'll do Ebay; it's NOT recommended however.

By the way you can fry your computer with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) so if you really must open it, ground yourself first; if you don't know how then don't open it. Period.

Wishing or wanting to play pcsx2 at full speed on notebook? Then you're need a gaming notebook which easily cost over 2k. If you got that then most game should be "playable"... If you don't have a gaming notebook then forget about pcsx2 or running any intensive graphical applications.

*try using Windows XP instead of vista...cause XP is cost only half of the usage of vista especially your using AMD.
**.hack 1-infection is absolutely unplayable you will get 100% crushes.
