Site speed

I have been working with the site over the past few days. I have been fixing some configuration issues, thinks should be running much faster now.

These are the guys from Crowdgather. Not sure how it works but i think spdude still owns the website.

Think its more like a partnership or something?

Just would like to point out in the past around midnight to 2:30am ((GMT -6:00) mexico city time) almost every day, access to the forum and front page were down quite a bit.

What I meant by down was the servers were so unresponsive you would get your browser saying the server was unreponsive. Other times things were a little better and you'd get emuforums coming up with its very own "the server is busy" message.

I wouldn't be posting this if it was an issue on my end, I know its not other sites will work perfectly. I've also talked to other members, here in Northamerica and Europe and they experience the same problems at exactly the same times so its gotta be something with your servers.

Thanks for the fixes though, don't know if this fixes the problem though.

I do see a noticeable increase in browsing speed. Plus, I haven't encountered the error "The server is too busy at this moment, Please try again later" which used to occur oh so often before. Thanks for the tweaking!

I didn't notice a speed increase, but the site wasn't slow for me either.

Thankfully, I usually don't have to put up with this problem since I live on the other side of the world i.e. difference in time zone So while the forum is choked with online members and guests, I'm happily riding dreamland express But anyway, P3R3 says the site will get switched to a newer more beefier server next week so we might see that error less often form then on in

Well, apparently, Bobbi sold the site to this Crowdgather thingy (read this on another thread here), which is a community of forums:
Crowdgather - Find it on Forums

Hence, we're seeing administrators with less then 10 posts A rare sight really, one to remember So Bobbi isn't the only owner of Ngemu right now.

I wish someone would put up a leadership chart somewhere just so we know who these people exactly are.
