They both work with PAL and NTSC games. It seems that ePSXe doesn't care for what type of BIOS it is.

btw, I reccomend Eternal SPU for the best sound, but make sure "SPU IRQ hack" is enabled in the plugin's configuration, but disabled in epsxe main sound configuration window.

Okay, the songs that our sung (Breath of Fire IV intro and Final Fantasy VIII's intro) is all gitchey like it wavers a bit then the sound effects on FF8 are weired, Selphie and Quistis' footsteps sound like they are wearing Iron boots.

Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.11 Configurations: Volume: Medium XA Music: Enable XA Playing [Checked] Changed XA Pitch, if it is played too fast [Checked] Misc: Show timer updates [unchecked] Use SPU IRQ queue [unchecked] Hope that isn't too confusing for you! |

First thing I'd do is update the plugin to 1.14.

Have you tried Eternal SPU or epsxe internal spu? They're both good too, but I prefer Eternal.
