Lisa Gerrard has without doubt the best voice I know. Her vibratto is so godly it makes me wet my pants, especially when she pairs it with glossolalia (most of the time). For those who don't recognize this name, she's one of the vocalists in the duet Dead Can Dance. If you also don't recognize this name then try crawling out of the big soundproof rock you live under.

Other honorable mentions go to Enya, Dolores O'Riordan (especially in her The Cranberries time)

Care to explain to me at which point is there anything remotely related to emo-ness? Seriously.

Some of their songs are about relationships and crap, but even by my standards I wouldn't consider them emo.
