Question GT4 better graphics?

Hey guys, while i was fooling around with GT4 US version, i noticed that setting the display to 480p (in the GT4 options) solves the problem where white garbage would be displayed while loading a race using gsdx. and i think that it makes the whole graphics a bit smoother. but it only works using ZeroGS or the latest gsdx (0.1.9). And another downside to this is that (since you're obliged to set brightness to 0) the picture ingame is darker. Yet i don't know if it fixes the random crashes or generates new ones
So if anyone here can try it and report feedback it would be great!!
thx for the pcsx2 team and all the other unknown contributors
