Is there a way to.................

Hi guys, I was wondering if there is a way for us to play 2 players in a game.
For example, I want to play SSBM with my friend but i have 1 controller and the keyboard of course. Is there a way to make both work? So the controller can be player 1 and keyboard can be player 2.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

I don't think so, the emulator only allows 1 player in the plugin I use, Im guessing nJoy ony allows 1 controller, but correct me if I'm wrong.

WRONG

Only nJoy allows you to use ALL four controllers!, however it is a joystick plugin so you need to connect four different joysticks to your computer.

I have not tried this myself, but just as a virtual drive, it will make your computer think there is a drive, or in this case, two other controllers connected to your PC so that the Njoy plugin will work. Two real controllers and two fake controllers should enable it all to work. Now, you need to find a program to act like two fake controllers to trick the plugin into thinking all four are connected. Either that, or connect 4 real controllers and only use two.

Now, don't go out and buy a bunch of controllers and tell me it does not work, I did not code the Njoy plugin but this is what I can gather from the above posts. Ask Falcon if this is correct.

I just tested it with sonic adventure 2 battle and it works but you can only use one virtual conroller at a time .

Are any developers working on combining the njoy plugin with the keyboard plugin? This would be really useful to use when playing games like SSBM.

Also, what do you mean, pjc, you can only use one virtual controller at a time?

It means that I cant use a second virtual controller at one time, for example I would set controller A's Buttons to be Z X Enter and the directional buttons, If I wanted to set up a second Virtual Controller with the num pad it wont let me do it even if I set it up in the njoy plugin.

oh they do exist. I use one to emulate a controller as my nes (with usb) controller wont work in nJoy. Then i mapped the virtual controller in nJoy and then I loaded that controller in an other app and assign the keys on the virtual controller to key's on my keyboard and after that I use an other app to bind the keys to my keyboard to my nes controller. This would have works but my controllers have the same name so one of the apps cant see the differences so 1 controller control both players.

Ok, I've been trying to use ppjoy as a virtual controller driver for Dolphin, but I can't get the keyboard mapper to simulate the analogue stick properly. I can make the dpad work in njoy (using the no hat option) but I can't tell it to let me use keys as the analogue.
Has anyone else found a way around this?
