Hi Just a follow on from FAQ 23 and what was said about starting from save point. I had the mic error and I then tried to restart from my last save (I save regularly) but it will only let me start from the beginning of the chapter. Is there something I can do to get it back where I was or am I doomed to start over again? Thanks~ |

Doomed to start over, a crash means all data from that session is lost (so from when you loaded them emu to when you close it without crashing or till you loaded a new game) regardless of how often you save.

Backing up won't help since unless you load the game again or close the emu without a crash the save never gets written to the HDD and just ends up floating around in session data and all you'd do is backup the save same from the start of you session over and over again. What I'd suggest you do is always either reload (not reset) the game after you save...a bit of a workaround but it works and then you can backup those saves since that action forces the data to be written to the HDD. Alternatively and a fair bit easier you can use No$Zoomer it has a function that automatically forces writing of the saves to the HDD whose name I've forgotten but I'm pretty sure it's hotkey is U so you should easily find it in the file menu.

Hotkeys are custom-made in No$Zoomer, unless it's part of No$GBA's core (like Numpad+ for speedup). And the option's called "Save Battery File".

true, but the suggesteted hotkey is usually found in brackets after the feature so in this case it will be "Save Battery File (U)" that's what I meant.

Hello! I keep getting the "The data could not be accessed. Turn of the power and reinsert the DS card" I've read the FAQ and done what it told me to do, set to correct settings in the NDS Savegame section. Yet I still get it, I'm trying with Pokemon Black. |

Tried both to reset the catridge and to close the Emulator and reopen it. This is how my settings look like : ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting I might've made a stupid mistake that you can see by looking at the picture. Never had any errors with the emulator so I'm quite sure it's me being a muppet. |

It's a false positive. Just tell your AV software to ignore and then add it to exceptions.

I used to use AVG just a few months ago, it should pop up with a warning and then allow you to simply ignore or block rather than delete or quarantine. Then you should be able to add it to exceptions.

No. Well it is possible but not to reassign it, only to also additionally assign it to either a macro key on a gaming keyboard or gaming mouse using it's software or using a macro program like Xpadder to additionally assign the key to a gamepad/controller.

Can you tell me where to put biosnds7.rom, biosnds9.rom and firmware.bin to meke the emulator working? Also which is the fastest working NDS emulator for slow machines (I get around 15 fps in Pokemon in No$GBA)

Put the BIOS files into the same directory as your No$GBA.exe. No$GBA is the fastest DS emulator, no contest.
