Gran Turismo 2 controller issue

well i was on here a few months ago saying the emu wasnt accepting my conmtrollers at all. got thaqt fixed by buying a new comp (old one was absolute crap). anyway all games work acceptably except gran turismo 2. it will not allow me to use analog sticks which are configured properly, and enabled in the emu. i have analog turned on and sticks mapped but gt2 wont allow me to activate them in the game. it used to work before my last comp went blotto and kept deactivating my pad when i activated analog (which is now fixed) but now gt2 wont work when every thing else does. and please dont tell me "some older games dont support analog" cuz gran turismo 2 does. i also dont want to use the d-pad cuz i cant turn very well with that. btw i am currently using epsxe 1.7.

i got it working. my controller was just being a picky little (insert rude word here).
