FF8 missing text and dialog boxes "ePSXe"

I have read heaps of threads and when I finally found 1 that described my problem there was no solution, he solved it before ny1 could reply. Ive been searching, literally, morning to night for a solution and now have decided to ask for my self.

I'm playing FF8 Pal version straight from the original CD and its starting up, i can save, load, memory cards work, i can see my character run and everything. The only problem is I cant see Any dialog boxes. Ive played this game on playstation so i already know that theres supposed to be speach bubbles and yet i dont see any. I can press x and watch them shake their heads in speech but i dont know what theyre saying. I cant see menu screens either, when i get into battles theres no battle menu, when i press square(playstation key) theres nothing, just blank. Theres also sound problems but im not too bothered by that, the music aint that good nyway.

I've tried so many that i cant even remeber them all.

Edit: I cannot believe how simple this solution was... All i had to do was save using the memory card rather than F1. This is officially the most annoying day of my life. Sorry to every1 i annoyed, it was a stupid mistake.
