How can i get the mouse working?

i just can`t get the mouse to work like an controller.
maybe im configuraring it wrong it`s epsxe 1.7. can anyone explaind me detailed how to get it working?

In order to get the mouse working a game must support it.
You are not emulating a controller with a mouse, you are actually emulating a mouse accessory for psx.

If you want to check if the mouse emulation is working after you set your controller to "Digital/Mouse" go to File->Run BIOS and press F5 to switch to a mouse.
