wtf?

As of rev 7212 x64 dolphin no longer starts. it just flashes. Earlier builds from 7167 are crashing upon starting a game.
Running win7 x64 with all updates and latest drivers.

Does anyone else other than me find it kind of sad that the nintendo Wii has come farther in emulation than the ps2? I can run Wii games all at full speed on my cpu whereas on PCSX2 the only game that works smoothly without any problems is FFX.

Exact opposite for me. PCSX2 generally runs better.

@OP
That's not an issue that can be fixed here. If newer builds are problematic, just use older builds and try back later.

I've found the issue to be the builds on the website. There are some builds on the forums provided by other people that seemed to work no problem.

The builds on the page should be fine again aswell; mamario updated to VS2010 SP1 which apparently fixed it for other people.
If not, report to the forums there or on googlecode.

I have that fatal frame 4 game but it was only japanese, so I downloaded the unofficial english patch for it and went through all that junk to translate the whole thing. I wrote the iso and opened it up in Dolphin, expecting HUGE errors because I know very little about coding and had no idea what I was to do with all those hexadecimal values in WiiScrubber... But the game worked pretty well! After tweaking with the settings I was able to get it to run at decent speed... however, the game runs like at 1/2 fps at some parts, and I eventually got too impatient . Does anyone have an idea on how to speed it up a lil? Graphical issues arent a big thing for me, as long as it runs at a playable speed. I did a lot of changing settings but I didn't know really what I was doing . Most of the wii games I have run full speed like Super Smash Bros Brawl and Rune Factory Frontier. I'm having problems with Fatal Frame 4 though... Would setting the priority for Dolphin higher make it run any faster? I tried but didn't notice anything...

^^; sadly I have another problem. I'm using the latest beta btw. It actually works a whole lot better than the version I was using. In the game (Fatal Frame 4) I can't seem to get the camera obscura to look up/down. Someone said on another site "Set Pitch to 75 degree or so, and press binded Pitch key or push binded analog stick" and I didn't understand what the heck he was saying... there was nothing in the wiimote settings that said anything about pitching and binding and whatnot... probably because I have a different version. I'm also having trouble using the wiimote pointer to aim the flashlight. Now, when I pull up the wii menu with the "home" button, the syncronization with the pointer on the screen and my mouse is dead on, but when I move my mouse around in the game (where I'm supposed to aim the flashlight), nothing happens. (Yes I tried enabling/disabling the Enable CPU Access option, the one that's supposed to help with the pointer in Super Mario Galaxy)

Maaaaaan I sooooo wish the LLE plugin would be working correctly. It has perfect sound in EVERY game.

Someone just fix it and all the Sound problems would be gone forever...

Somebody please~ speed up DSP LLE, its working great on every game, but its so SLOW... Just need +3% to play SMG smoothly on 2xRes

Ah and something... Is there a possibility to get a higher priority emulating sound or change the buffer? On ToS1 I have an async of over 1 sec with DSound (with Xaudio2 its about a half sec)... And same here.... Speed up LLE so the battles will be played @100% FPS^^

DSP LLE works great with fullspeed. I'm using LLE for every game now and it's great. SSBB,SSBM, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Paper Mario TTYD, Pikmin, Metal Gear Solid TTS, Star Fox Assault Zelda Twilight Princess/Wind Waker and a lot more.
They're all working great with LLE^^

Your Computer is just too slow to emulate it

Ehm no... Ive got a Q9550 running @4 Ghz... Its everything but slow

Those games you are playing are GC-Games. This is no wonder. Try Super Mario Galaxy with LLE and even your i7 will get down. That's because its not limited by CPU-Capacity

Sound in Super Mario Galaxy does stutter when I am on the overworld (Comet observatory).
But when entering a level, it runs mostly perfect and only stutters at some point in certain levels.

Thumbs up pad no longer support and errors on wii game

HI! first at all i wanna say i've just take a search if exting threads are already wrote.
then here my problems, i hope you understand my english, so sorry in advance! just with"rev versions" like r7440 or earlier i've got some problems with pads, i've four pads on my pc "usb pad, dual pad, betop pad and last one that do much problems to issue is "microsoft sidewinder plug & play game pad" (is pretty older yes) as disappear from the new versions, it seems no longer support it!(i've just update directx and install all necessary) so i need to use keyboard and a external program like "xpadder" to get work my last pad (or just use older version like 2.0 official build for play games);
, i've also try to change config in directories using old config of dolphin 2.0 but nothing it don't work; (yeah maybe i need to buy another controller but why only for new svn builds it not work? it don't come recognize? i've also check control pannel it seems all ok...)
Then Here there is another problem with (example) a game Mario Party 8 (wii) if i play the game without enabled others pads in new versions (svn) the mouse working as "IR settings" (cursor y+ , cursor y-, cursor x+, cursor x+) but if i enable others pad the mouse doesn't work anymore,i've just try to disconnect in game with alt + f6, alt + f7 and alt+ f8 but nothing it continue doesn't work, while in the versions like dolphin 2.0 it works perfectly! with all four pads activated (i've just try to use older config of 2.0 inside the new svn build but nothing) i can use mouse for emulate the four wiimote IR pointing, please fix this issue for new svn build because on version 2.0 official it work.
thank's in advance.
PS: sorry for my english

davide.

Real shame that the only version of FZeroGX that works is the PAL version.

Exciting times are on the horizon since Dolphin 3.0 is out the door and the feature freeze is over! Currently things are a teensy bit broken on the video side since the texcache-rewrite branch was integrated into the main source code but it should be ironed out in time. The biggest thing about it is there's no more "accurate/safe texture cache" option!

Also I managed to unbreak my build system. Enjoy the fresh new builds.
