r4737 is built.

By the way, does anyone else notice a decrement on Zelda's Wind Waker (GC) music? It used to have some cracks here and there, but now is rather... choppy.

Yes, I noticed that as well, seems some other games are also affected. I didn't notice any problems until after ayuanx's last few or so DSP/Sound commits.

Calm down peoples. Judging from his work and the rather large tasks he's taken on, ayuanx appears to be a very capable programmer who knows what he's doing. I think eventually he'll finish this sound overhaul thingiee and we'll be glad for it.

EDIT: Damn it, I'm trying to upload new builds but every time I finish compiling, there's another commit!

Nobody said otherwise, I have confidence as well he will bring some groundbreaking DSP commits. However this has been an issue with some games since his last few DSP related commits, also the VPS is funky as well but I am unsure if that issue is related to his commits.

anyone know where i can find a download of r4597 for Win32?

@windwaker1994: I will try to make you one.

@p_025: I second X2d, nobody said otherwise. Just gotta wait for the next changes, or stages, as I said. And I also think this changes will be for the better.

Does it have to be that exact revision? I have a build of r4600 in my previous builds.

EDIT: looks like r4599 made major changes to DX9 plugin… Still, by all means try the one I posted. If it doesn't work I can compile r4597 specifically.

sorry, that one doesn't work. i'm looking for one that doesn't have the 1 gb of continuous memory error or the FBManager error. i've looked around and according to someone commenting on an issue i found on google code, r4597 is the only one that is devoid of both of those errors.

the reason why i want one like this is because the 1 gig error makes games unplayable and the FBManager error causes graphics like the screen here: http://forums.ngemu.com/dolphin-disc...cs-issues.html

Btw sl1nk3 commented on ayuanx's DSP commit for revision 4724 and it looks like me and KrossX are correct in saying that sound is messed up for games which use the Zelda Ucode, it also seems the issues with VPS/Audio throttle is related to this commit.

Sorry for the negative, but this commit broke Streaming sound type 0x21 in Zelda uCode, it also broke the audio throttle in all non-ax games.

Good work on OpenAL though.
I hope ayuanx sees the report and fixes the problems though.

Interesting sl1ink3's tests. I don't know how to test in such detail. >_<

@windwaker1994 => Dolphin_r4597_JIT32+IL.7z

I tried ZeldaWW today, and I got a FBManager error once. Non reproducible though... =S

dude. you're awesome. no errors, whatsoever. it's a little slower, and some things are still only slightly out of order. but i would much rather have it be slower than have it look like someone threw up all over everything. thanks bro! thanks alot!

and guise! i can has sound in Wind Waker!

Well, since I took the time to compile it, I'll upload r4597 as well. Seems it could be a good revision for some people to have.

windwaker1994: Can you post your specs (CPU, graphics card, RAM, etc.) so we know what we're dealing with here? I'm considering making an issue about it on the tracker.

Just came up with this idea. I know it's more of a front end thing, but i think it would be cool if you could have some kind of tooltip or panel where you can see some info on the game you are selecting. it could be .ini driven so everyone can collaborate. what do you guys think?

EDIT: You could also have it in a dockable panel, to add a link after the game's description, that will take you to a thread discussing ONLY that game and how it works

Yeah, plus I don't think many people speak Latin these days.
If you really wanna see it in Dolphin, put it in the issue tracker. That thing isn't just for problems you know.

well here's the issue here on Google Code: Issue 1703 - dolphin-emu - [D3D] FBManager Create Fail: Depth Color Texture - Project Hosting on Google Code

and can you tell me how to find my specs?

i think it just has to do with Intel graphics cards. i think if anyone has a card other than Intel, they don't get the FBManager error.

oh, and i use DX9 because i don't have OpenGL and i don't know how to get it.

That's Lorem Ipsum, not any random latin text
I'll try to add this to the tracker. Thanks!

Maybe they'll include fixing the damn Mario Galaxy music stops. :/
