Yeah. I got it to work too. Zoids Battle Legends is still crashing after 2 seconds though. Hmm, I'll go over to my friends house and check out F-Zero.

Black Skull: What are your computer's specs? I'm sure as hell not getting full speed but it's playable anyway.

Use a patch which is included in the SVN.

thx Gareth
It was expensive but it was worth it. I can play Metroid Prime with fullspeed in single core mode
I can even play Dune 2 at fullspeed with max details

May I ask why do you need 24GB of RAM? That's pretty insane.
Btw what cooler are you using on the processor?
Oh and what MotherBoard?

My Wii can do that and it only set me back $250.

I don't NEED it but i'm a PC freak and I wanted a high-end PC that no other can keep up with so yeah. My friends always call it "Ultra-End PC" or "Skynet killer"

I'm using liquid cooling but not only for the processor. Almost everything in my PC is watercooled. My Motherboard is an Asus Rampage II Extreme with Intel X58. Well thats what my PC says about it but I think it's the right.

@masta.g.86 Can your Wii play it in 2560x1600 with 16xQ CSAA and still get fullspeed

No, but it has 100% compatibility and fullspeed in every game.

My point is, I can't justify building a PC around emulation when the actual hardware is so much cheaper. Though it certainly is nice to play these games in high-res and perhaps with a different set of controls.

24 GBRAM actually is slower than 4 GBRAM, it have more addresses to handle, so it will run slower at end, there is alot of benchmarking showing it at web.

Yeah I know what you mean and it's not only you thinking like that. There are a lot of people like you who would rather buy the cheaper console instead of a High-End PC. And thats ok for me but my opinion isn't the same.
First I'm a PC gamer. Always was, always will be. So playing a game on PC automatically makes it better for me. Second: There are just so many things you can do on PC like modding, higher res, playing without textures and much more. Also for me it just feels better when playing a game like Metroid Prime on PC. I dunno why but when playing on PC it's much more atmospheric. I just prefer PCs over consoles thats all

@aslambrz every game I played so far was running perfect on max settings so its fine for me

Sry i don't have Punch out is it a good game ? I've heard about it a lot
Zelda TP runs fullspeed in Faron Woods and almost fullspeed in Hyrule Field (it never drops under 50 FPS)

If you like the Boxing games (and you liked the NES version), then you should get it.

I think starting the game was possible for a long time just racing isn't afaik what makes it useless since its a RACING game.
I think I'll rip it right now and see what happens. I've never tried F-Zero GX on PC before
