Hmm, you should try to compile 3832 and report then, that's strange though...

Update, posted this as a comment in on the project page:

Quote:
I apologize if normal users are not able to provide comments in response to commits..

I just compiled and tested revision 3832 alongside revision 3833, revision 3832 does not exhibit this massive slowdown issue. It can be assured revision 3833 is the culprit, whether this is due to incompatibility with the drivers or the card itself remains to be known.

Games that are affected which I tested were Resident Evil Remake (Candlelit lobby in the beginning), Resident Evil 4, Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and possibly more.

Tested with a Core2duo E8500 and a Geforce 9800 GT.
In short revision 3832 does not exhibit this problem while revision 3833 does, so the culprit is indeed revision 3833.

The candlelit lobby in Resident Evil Remake has always been slow for me but I have to admit it's even more slow with 3833, faster with 3831. I also noticed some strange shadows in certain halls.

The slowdown in the candlelit lobby in the beginning of the game was fixed back when the Deku tree room slowdown on Windwaker was fixed several revisions back.

Since then up until now it has been running full speed in that area for me. As I mentioned revision 3832 doesn't exhibit this issue while revision 3833 does..

Whats that DX9 v0.1 Plugin thingy there?
I believe you do know that older revisions of the plugins do not work with current builds of dolphin due to interface changes?

Exclamation Notice regarding DX9 v0.1 plugin and SVN r3851 (x86) download!

The Direct3D9 v0.1 Plugin is available for those who use any "stable" SVN revision before r3627.

Edit: Dolphin SVN r3851 (x86) is now available to download!

Also, I have chosen to reorganise my downloads... So, I will no longer be offering plugin packs anymore. Please, download the latest SVN (or any others) to get the plugins you require which work with your "stable" working version of the emulator.

Enjoy!

It's still slow for me, perhaps it requires a more powerful cpu / gpu ?

I'd recommend using SVN r3626 with the Direct3D9 v0.1 and other plugins from r3728 to play this. As Intel chipsets do not work with what is availbale at the moment (unless u have a better GFX card) as the Direct3D9 plugin is not working at the moment still and who knows (but the devs) as to when it will be sorted!

Anyway... Dolphin r3868 (x86) is now availbale to download!

Enjoy

Try it and see. LoZ should run at 30fps constant. more is too fast.

Its already crystall clear from the error message U got, Didnt mean to be hars, but U'R GPU IS DAMN TOO OLD. Read the system requirement, just give it up or change to more recent gpu (or all of U'r system) at least that meet the system requirement
