Nope just normal 2D.......
Have you ever think if it can enhanced quality of your 2D image.........
Make pixcel image look more clear......
Or even enhanced DVD,VCD movie to higher quality........

Hmm.... didn't really notice that much improvement in Divx movies. I think that's driver dependent.

Have you seen those 3D furniture galleries in some websites (like Ofiice Depot)? The models are 3D and AA works on 'em, even 'tho they're on a regular window.

Onboard DVD hardware assist is pretty common now.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying you applied FSAA to divx playback, or tried to and couldn't see any effect?

FSAA can work in 2D, in some games you will see a difference where there is vertex data (x, y). This will eliminate aliasing on primitives.

And it can work in normal 2D aplications, rendering an image at a higher resolution (super-sampling) can make the image more clear.
