cpu temperature ?
hey guys just overclocked my cpu to 3GHz so when i do nothing the cpu are at : processeur : 12 C cpu1/core1 : 51 C cpu2/core2 : 51 C but when i play pcsx2 they are/go up to : processeur : 32 C cpu1/core1 : 69 C cpu2/core2 : 69 C is it normal ? |

yeah its normal for the CPU to get hotter when its not idle ![]() and those temps look alright; as long as its not passing 70C i think its safe.

Assuming your CPU is an early conroe Core 2 Duo (E6xxx), the suggested temperature under load is 65C. PCSX2 doesn't stress the CPU 100% either. Download a program called Orthos and run the Small FFT test. get an aftermarket CPU cooler. my $15 OCZ Vanquisher lowered my temperature by ~12C. Your temperature sounds right for the stock cooler. They suck .
