Not sure what's happening.

Hey y'all. Delta2 said to come here if I had troubles, and so here I am.

When I tried to load up a game(Final Fantasy 8, so you know), at first it showed me a picture in the top corner that said "STANDARD 1" and had a PSX controller picture. That was there for about a minute before the game finally played and lasted for all of 30 seconds before cutting out and closing the emulator. Since that first success I haven't been able to get it to work again. Every time I try to load it up it shows me the STANDARD 1 picture. I tried this with FF7 as well, and the same thing happened. Any ideas what it is and how I can fix it?

what are you playing from discs or images? what plugins are you using and how do you have them configured? what are your system specs.?

your ePSXe configuration and its plugins is really in a bad situation, post'em as JONC2008 said.
