Hi all, Which File type is the best to run a game from, I've backed up my FF9 and I get the following Files
I know what the .sub is for but out of the first 3 which one is the preferred/recommended file to load from, considering epsxe loads the game successfully from all 3, does it actually matter??? Thanks |

As I said already you must have all the files you got when you made an image. All files are used when you are running the game. Just look at the size of the files (ccd for example), you can't expect to have an entire game in just a few KB now ![]() .ccd - Contains information about the logical structure of the CD. .cue - Text file that defines the way tracks are organized on CDs. .img - Image data. .sub - Subchannel data. |

![]() btw, since you're in England, I assume you're playing the UK PAL edition of the game. In that case, you definitely want to keep the .cue and .sub files, or else the game won't load. Anyway, one thread is enough. You already asked this question in another thread, but I answered here to be a little more specific
