Rare crash with Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage

In Spyro 2, I sometimes (very rarely) get a crash, with the following error:

SPEC Opcode 01 UNK (PC 000095b0) (000092e8) (590643,7)

It has happened to me three times, completely randomly, so I can't be any more detailed than that, sorry.

My system config is in my signature.

Have you tried using a different emulator?

Is it the PAL version of the game? If so, the PAL version of the game has libcrypt copy protection, which causes that crashing. Your only option is to use P.e.op.s CD-R plugin and read the subchannel off the disc to file.
