epsx problem with PSX emulator cheater. Help pls

I can not get PSX emulator cheater to work with my emulator epsx.
Everytime I try to sent the code to plugin, the pop up always stay there looking for the emulator.

What do I do wrong?

How can I get my PSX emulator cheater to work with my epsx?
btw, I am using ver 1.60 epsx not 1.70

open the video plugin screen.

1- Its a bad configuration issue you made/or not/, fix it as fellow:

* Go to config/video and choose psx emulation cheater plugin, hit config

* In the psx emulation cheater plugin config box choose your usual plugin and config it as usual
* Restart the emu, there you go (config done).

2- Be sure to select plugin interface in PEC, or else it will not work.(options/interface type/plugin)

the plugin must be loaded (ie the video plugin screen opened) to enable/disable cheats when emulation hasn't started

Not that it must, 'cause the sending code message box will hang there till the the video plugin screen opens. (it says : WAITING FOR PLUGIN)

I may or may not be the only person who is having this problem, but when I go to select PEC for the emulator's video plugin, I only see my current video plugin - Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9. I went to PEC>Options>Interface Type>and selected Plugin, but it still doesn't work. I don't know what else to try! If I could just get PEC to show up in the video plugin select, I could get the rest working.
Please help as soon as possible, Megaman X4 and Oddworld are just too hard! xD

In most cases its your fault, look in your plugin folder for a file named (pec.dll) does it exists or not?
answer please to provide more help.

Yes I put it in that folder, and also every single other folder to see if I was just putting it someplace wrong.

no, no just one copy in plugin folder is enough, the other dlls will jam your emu from finding which plugin is pec
now try launching the emu and config your GPU plugin, and tell me what happens

Ok I just tried it, but it didn't work, the only copy of the PEC Plugin is now in the Plugin folder, and I still can't find it.
I've only got the 2 plugins in the folder, Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 and PEC

OK, a last solution before we say that your emulator/or/OS is having serious problems :

1- Delete your current plugins folder

2- Get my plugins folder (attached in bottom), decompress and copy to your ePSXe folder

3- Run your emu and config your GPU, land me your results.

hi, hope this thread is still alive....but im trying to put cheats into chrono cross....im doing everything right....the pec plugin is configured and i exited the epsxe then sent my cheats to the plugin...then i continued the game....only it freezes up...then it just quits and the windows error report comes up. im using pete's D3D for my gpu....is that a bad thing?

i even downloaded hanibal81's plugins. still freezes up.

cronoserge, i dont think the thread was alive, but i can tell you that i use Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 and it seems to be working well for me. maybe you could try that and see if it works ^_^

Psx emulation cheater suddenly disappeared from plugin list. (config video option) I can't select PEC anymore. In "Plugins" folder i have some plugins and PEC too, and i can select all these plugins but i can't select PEC anymore, what's wrong?
I try to reinstall PEC but it didn't help
