music keeps playin after I exit ePSXe

I have searched this forum and so far haven't seen this question...

Is there a proper way to exit out of epsxe? Because every time I play my FF 7 cd, and I wanna exit, I click File, Exit, and it seems that I close out of ePSXe, but the music from the game I was running just keeps on playing. Also, because of this my computer won't let me pull out my flash drive, on which my ePSXe files are saved. Anyone know how to fix this and completely exit??

this should not even be possible :|

are you sure the emulator has closed completely, or is there a ghost process in task manager?

That's really wierd, it doesn't occur here.

But yeah, use the task manager to kill the task.

yeah usually that is caused when you exit out of epsxe using any method other than the file>exit in the GUI. that is weird ive never seen it do this when you actually do exit out correctly. try moving the emulator and all of those folders onto your computers hard driver rather than the flash and see how it reacts when you exit out like that.

Thank you very much. I can finally completely exit out of epsxe through the task manager. However, before the process ends, I do get a warning that my data may get lost.
